Would any one like to check out my first reel?

http://www.3dshowreel.com/reels/Jrizzle/ShowRizzle.mov (http://www.3dshowreel.com/reels/Jrizzle/ShowRizzle.mov)

It was all modelled/rigged/animated etc by me except for the excellent "Turd Man" (The guy with the eye stalk!) who was created by Scott Eaton.

I'm interested in being an animator so any thoughts/feedback on that side of things would be cool.

Thanks to 3dshowreel.com for the hosting and I apologise in advance for the size: 35MB...

Demo reel has a nice style. My only critique for you is to maybe go back over some animation principles. Maybe work on the arcs and bit and some more squash and stretch. Work on some of the timing as well, for instance; when the dude jumps at the goal and falls maybe fasten the pace of that up by a few frames to make his fall more dynamic and work more on the overlapping action-it seems like you have a good understanding of weight just move his arms a bit more and move his fingers- more offsetting. I loved the characters though. Keep practicin'.

Thanks for the viewing and the advice! I'm not sure if my rigs will squash/stretch but I'll have an experiment with it...

Thanks again.

J-Rizzle!

Just so everyone knows, I taught this man everything he knows!!
Without me, he'd be selling fish on a stall in Bolivia!

Good work man, keep it up :)

- you should put the t.v. falling on Beefcakes head in...

There's a lot to be said for Bolivian fish. And could your head get any bigger...?
