Hey all,

This is my latest venture. Trying a modern remake of Aphrodite (make-up, figure, hair etc), but trying to maintain that past-master sense of style. Quite happy so far, face is proving a bit tricky, i really want to try for an exquisite beauty but with an expression of almost disdain at the modern world. Gonna be tricky. Plan is to have her standing on rocks of a shoreline, with waves crashing about her feet, maybe some doves or similar above her - will see how it pans out. Thanks for looking.

It is looking good so far. I think the anatomy is a bit off around the stomach area and I would get the background colours blocked in pretty soon so you are not working on a white background. Other than that, looking good.

Small update, got the background in, did a bit more on the face and hand - quite happy with how they are going. Still not quite happy with some of the anatomy - stomach, left upper arm and bits of the face, will have to work it up more. Want to get the fabric to be dirty and wet at the bottom which should be a challenge.
