View Full Version : Modo noob question
SpaceTik 12-19-2005, 11:27 AM Does any1 know how to get rid of viewports that I have created?? It remains on widget list long after I have finished with them cause I saved them as quick commands and its driving me bonkers!!.. even new documents, restarting or clearing history cant get rid of them and I have a pile of them all conflicting with each other.
thanks in advance!

Click the dot in the upper lefthand corner of your viewport you wish to remove and drag it over another viewport. That will bring it up as it's own window for you to close out. That's how I do it at least. :)

Sorry I meant when u save a viewport from the top right widget pulldown menu (triangle thing)
eg. "Adriana front" or "Adriana side" as in the tutorial? I just want to remove it from the widget list. Hope that was clearer :) even after I reboot and start my Modo it opens up with Adriana front! as default page instead of a clean new document.
thanks for your help anyways!

I have been trying to figure this out also. There is a script that will let you do it but the file on the vertex monkey site seems to be a bad file. When I try to unzip it it tells me its a bad zip file.

You can edit the modo.cfg / com.luxology.modo file and remove anything to do with that viewport name.
PC
Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Luxology\modo.cfg
mac
username->library->preferences
Cheers.
