View Full Version : Texture vs. Texture Axis tool?

I have been playing around texture and texture axis tool. To tell you the truth, I hardly see much difference between the results. The manual says the texture axis tool moves the whole texture envelope, but in my viewport I see the whole envelope move even when texture tool is selected (example, I have a sphere object and a spherical projection) even though the manual claims, from what I gather, the cyan envelope would merely slide accross object's surface. I don't notice any difference in the movement of the cyan colored texture envelope whether using the texture or the texture axis tool.

Any thoughts?
