Hey guys! I'm a 3d guy trying to improve my meager painting skills. This image started as a dark, low res pic I found on google that I thought would be a cool base:

In the end very little of the plate photography is showing. This is because it was so poor in quality. Hopefully if I ever have the opportunity to do a matte commercially, the photography will be of a higher quality! Click the image to view the big version:

I think I'm done with this one, it would probably hold up to the test at TV resolution. I'll probably composite some CG plants and characters into it eventually, just to utilize the image on my reel.
