I was wondering if there is anyone out there who would be able to help me, (even though I am unable to post images now). I'm pretty sure that this is simple, however I am ignorant to the matter. I am creating an animated logo of a burning bush. The bush isn't too elaborate, which is fine with me, because I want my client has expressed emphasis on the fire itself. My fire has a dull lull to it. Now there are 4 things I want to accomplish.

- I want my fire to be brighter...

- I want my fire to appear as if it's blowing in the wind...

- I want it to consume the bush

- and I want it to be Blue!

When I get to my shanty this evening I'll edit this post with images to show you what I am referring to, but if there is anyone who could lend me their brain on this matter...I'll "give you my 1st born".
Thanx

well pip-pip, i have grown fond of my brain so you musn't have it. But it be a pity that i digress, ::sigh::. You must first diverse in telling us what technique thee' will be using. But of cOuRse, i shutter to think it be fluids.
Lets us interact with particles, How bout it to the pip with the shrug of the shoulder dip. What say you we add volumetric particles with shaded noise that moves with forces and collides and corrodes the bush due to an animate texture map set to emit particles which is used as a goal weight for our fire to eat.

as for your first born please send him to new york where i will prepare my cannibilistic meal and savor the youngling flesh on a roast with other items a madman might tinker to be paltry indeedy.'

I would use one of the Maya fluid presets to get you started, and then tweak the heck out of it to get something unique.

You can get it moving in a few different ways. One way that might help you get some really specific movements would be to create a fluid pusher - an object that will collide with the fluid that you can hand animate and then hide the visibility of.

Changing the color and brightness of the fluid will be super easy as well.

Good luck!
