My animated short called PSEUDO is in early development of story, research, design, all that jazz. I just uploaded an animatic, please go see it and tell me what you think.

Hi! I really like the concept so far - although it seems that it is still in early stages of developement. There is actaully just one idea that came to mind, and it is concerning scene 4: stick-group-dance A with the sticks involved- maybe they should hold (and attack) with 3 different weapons. That would give more space for the moves, dancing... and the action of their attack would be more dynamic ( The first thing that came to me was the diverse weapons flying through the air - for example tha stick, the spear or a mace and some kind of a circular blade).Just an idea, hope it will help.... in some way

Thanks for your support Nebojsa,
it makes sense. I was thinking of a dance where all three of them do something somewhat similar, but I guess having different weapons, that wouldn't be bad :) I want wood weapons though, so they can't poke their "eyeses" :surprised
the stick is somehow "soft" enough not to do so much damage... also, pretty international, so I can mix the african and asian stuff. what other wooden weapons can you think of?
Dog should probably use a different weapon anyway..I guess... if any at all...
I was thinking that if they all have sticks the group will look more like a group... but maybe that's not so true, maybe the feel of "being a group" will be obtained through animation/choreography.
do you have any ideas for the very ending, the way Nica gets out? that's my trickiest part... so not believable right now, or maybe just... so cheeeeasy...

the story has changed quite a lot for the past month, and PSEUDO is not a dance in itself anymore, and the 'group stick dance' despotn is talking about doesn't exist anymore.
with the help of my friends, PSEUDO has become much better, I think - I've rewritten a lot; please help me make it better by giving me your input.
