oh wow, that's really nice work.

i love the mood, and the time of day (late evening i assume)..... all the flying debris really adds to the confusion i think too.

Everything looks awsome, I think. Only thing is the saucer's colors looks, um, not right I guess. Maybe it shouldn't be so fiery red or needs a tad more definition.

I actually like the piece a lot also. The thing that saddens me is that you started with acrylic, and then photoshopped the end. I think it would have been better if you would have stayed with the paint. That's just my opinion, because Im a traditionalist at heart. With real paint you can make the textures out of the thickness, and things like that.
The only crit is the blurriness of the UFO itself. And you did a great job of putting the cast light on the man and the ground, but you totally forgot about the trees.
The color scheme is great, BTW, good use of contrasting violets and oranges.
