can't trim surface with max nurbs

I can't really tell from that picture what exactly the trim is supposed to be. I see the surface selected in red, but where is it being trimmed? Think I'd have to see the file for this one.
If you're trying to trim it trim a ring out around that center circular piece, you'd probably need to do that as two trims: the outer piece first, and then an additional trim for the inner piece.

you are right I need 2 trims, the second one didn't work, I got a yellow surface, Max Nurbs pisses me off, I used Rhino3d for a long time and it is a solid Nurbs program that has a lot of potential. Maybe Max Nurbs can do same thing, I will send file tomorrow,
