View Full Version : Animation and compositng search
Zander 12-15-2005, 08:56 AM I saw a great animation here recently that has a jumpjet taking off from a platform in the snowy mountains. There were links to breakdowns of the shots etc. If anyone remembers this, could you let us know. I have looked , but as yet, I have not found it.

Incidentally, the same artist did another shot with a breakdown--a creature crashing through a wall. Here's the breakdown: http://www.wired-wolf.com/alvinvfx/breakdowns_s01.htm
And the movie: http://www.wired-wolf.com/alvinvfx/downloads/crashTest.zip

Sadley, thats a negative. Thanks for replying though. The animation Im talking about is an air force or army theme. The shot in question is of a Jump Jet of some kind on a platfrom deep in the mountains in winter. There is also a breakdown of the compositing, as well as other shots from the project

could be digital domains behind the scenes for stealth
because the site if flash I cant figure how to send a direct link on this mac. But go to www.d2.com then choose commercials, behind the scenes and click on the link for Stealth !
One of the best breakdowns I have ever seen !

Was it the short film were they went to a military robot training facility in the mountains for a demonstration of a combat robot, and then the robot broke loose, trashed the place and escaped?
