OK, the situation is the following...
I did a bottle in Cinema4d with both inner and outer surfaces and it's all in one piece. So now i want to do some changes to the inner surface but i don't seem to find any other way to select the neccesary polygons than through the bottle mouth on the top, and it's still very pain taking to do all that this way.

So is there just a better way to do that, smth like foreface culling instead of backface culling or smth like that.

And the second thing i was wondering about is that - is there any way to cut an object with the knife tool without cutting the whole object, rather the visible side of it, just to brake a side of a polygon from the wanted place.

OK, waiting for some clever answers, even thou i don't think these questions have an answer.
and meanwhile you can check out my site: www.hot.ee/miqpilt (WARNING! - it's in estonian, so may not understand the contest, but still worthy viewing the pics and my recent work)
:hmm:

As for the knife tool not cutting through the whole object...select just the polygon that you want to cut and on the active tool manager check restrict to selection. Keep in mind that it will create points on the edges therefore spiltting the polys on the side of the selection where the new points are formed from the cut but it won't slice through the other side of the object.

Also select all of the outer surfaces polys and make a selection tag for them, then just select hide selected in the tag itself and voila you have only an inner surface to work on for cutting,to get them back again selection unhide all will do the trick :)
