Hi,
I've recently bought Dosch Sky CD and I load one of the sky's into the luminance channel, put it on a sky object, enable radiosity, disable auto light, and render. I get these ugly and unattractive shadows on my object near the floor and also I think you call them "fragments"; There's 'fragments' on the object(s). How do I get rid of them?

Example:

hmm.. Imageshack isn't liking me. Hope it shows up for everyone. :)

Thank you in advanced fellow C4D users.

it's your low rad settings

try increasing your min max values (try ro keep them at a ration of 1:10 or maybe 1:5). also increase your stochiastic samples amount

also don't use a sky object but use 2 spheres of slightly different sizes as in the maxon hdri tut, one for a visible sky and one for rad, blur the rad image somewhat

Hmmm... Seems like the more I mess with the min/max values the more my computer grinds itself to death :P I think I'll just deal with this for now untill I get a new PC lol. Speaking of which, I'm trying to get this one (http://www.hsn.com/cnt/article/default.aspx?aid=3845&o=%21HPC2L1&cm_re=C2*GatewayDay*img) :scream:

don't mess so much with min/max as with samples. the number of samples used will determine how smooth a result you get and ammount of contrast (and accuracy) between the samples.
