View Full Version : Export with pop n fresh? How do I do it :( ?

I was under this impression that this plugin would export the model format to be put into Quake or Wolfenstein environments,it may well do that but when I put it in the plugin directory I am unable to see it in my Utilities tab on the extreme right of my interface...when I look at the "more" button I cant find the plugin!!! When I look in "configure button sets" its not there!!! When I check in my Customise/plugin manager and change the plug in from deferred status to loaded it still remains invisible to me in all those other places!!!! Have tried restarting 3dsmax5 thinking it needed that to perhaps load in the new plug but no joy!!!!
Can anyone help me out on this!

does it come with a readme or help file saying how to access it?

Ok there is a file that you got with it called 'Maxplugin.html' - thats got the info in it - up the top it says it is only for Max3 or Max2 though...

'K have a look at the HTML file in this version - hopefully its all relevant if its just a recompile of the old plugin...

does it just add an option in the export settings? like if you select and object and go to file/export selected is there an option now for .md3 files in the filetype dropdown? if so then the plugin is working, as .md3 is the q3 filetype...if it's not there, then i'll have to check when i get home, as thats where i have it installed :)
