Hi guys i am very interested in using photoshop to create a style like that of turner http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/turner/i/burning-detail.jpg

I am very keen on the texture of the painting and the blurring between colours. What would be peoples approach to painting something like this in ps?? or perhaps if anyone thinks painter might be more appropriate i would be interested to hear.

thanks little that was really great. I had never heard of finger painting before (it is funny how you can use a program all day and never notice so many things about it)

Anyways here is my first effort - i put an extra layer of stippled paint as an overlay to get even more paint texture going on.
