CGTalk - Dynamics solvers

Does anyone know where I could go to find good information about the different solvers available in Maya's dynamics? I would like to find out about the difference between Runge-Kutta Adaptive, Runge-Kutta, and mid-point.

That's not what I meant. Does anyone know of any good resources I can go to, to find out how these solvers work? What's the logic behind them?
