Hi

This is my "virtual acctress" called Angelique who will appear in my up and coming music video called Within my Dreams. She is my second character ever. It's just a press kit photo and hence the background is lacking at the moment.

All 3D work was done in Cinema 4D. Texturing was done in BodyPaint and PhotoImpact. Very minor touch up work was done with PhotoImpact. I used references collected from all over the internet and magazines to model the character.

The hair was created using Cinema 4D's new hair module (which is awesome beyond belief BTW).

The final rigging is currently being done by Fabian Rosenkranz - Thanx Fabian. A special word of thanks to Anton Pienaar, Steven Stahlberg, Alberto Belassi, Andrew Hickinbottom and the other CG Talkers whose creative crits helped me better the character.

The total time it's taken me up to this point, is about 5 months. However, if I were to put the time I actually had available to work on it together, it would be about 1 month.

Woohoo, she's finally up :bounce: Lookin real good my friend. Love the reflection on the emblem, and the hair came out real nice. Hoping to see a lot more of her soon. Maak my sommer pb. O yeah, have you found your precious yet? images/icons/icon10.gif

Looks very cool, like the long hair...my only comment would be the blown out specular where the hair is on the floor, but other than that you have a great image here. The model is very nice!

Thanx for all the replies so far guys. I really appreciate it. I'll definitly have to look at my lighting in my next image more carefully.

The lighting makes the girl look too flat. The hairline is a bit too even. She also looks a bit pale/gray, maybe some more color and some incandescence (Maya term) to give the skin more life?

Very well modelled, the part beneath her ankle bone looks a bit too flat though, but that could be the lighting.

Well done, can't wait to see the video! *male chauvinist snicker* :)

The hair.... :buttrock: Very cool indeed. Body could be a little more fuller for my taste and the foot seems kinda of but overal she is a looker.

I like your modeled girl, the face is nice. Also the hairs are soft and they smooth very good on the head. A bit strange to me the place where right foot is bended. Anyway it is excellent model!
