View Full Version : mapping on more than 1 nurbs surfaces

Hi,
I do simply 2 nurbs spheres and circular fillet between them.Now i have 3 surfaces because I can not attach these surfaces.I assigned them to one material and assigned a checker map to color.Now each surfaces are different coordinates.I want to do as a 1 surface.Checker must be straith from first surface to the third one.How can i do that?

you take a triple shading switch for the color, define 2 different checker textures (one for the both spheres, one for the fillet) and then adjust the place2DTexture values for the fillet

Just use a shader projection.

Sorry i could not explain clearly.
Here on the image;
right one has 3 different surfaces and left one attached one surface.
I want to uv map right one as left one.I want to map it like an attached one surface.
Project map makes planar.I want to keep uv.
