Actors Cas Jansen (http://imdb.com/name/nm0417970/) and Tygo Gernandt (http://imdb.com/name/nm0314611/), from Neatherlands, just signed up to do the voice acting for the two main characters of Orange, the open movie project been produced entirely with open source sofware.

The Orange team already counts with collaborations from composer Jan Morgenstern, as well as support by the Computer Science Department of the Bowie State University and itīs BSU Xseed renderfarm, made of 224 dual Apple Xserve G5 machines.

So is it now a non English speaking movie, or will the two voice actors use English?

Wouldn't you be better matching high profile actors with a high profile 3d software? Maybe I dunno, take a step up to Lightwave?

sorry but being european myself , ( lived in france and in germany ) ,, i must say that i never heard anything about these dudes .. ..well they might be high profile in teh netherlands .. but surely not in france or in germany .. :wise: :twisted:

Last time I checked Lightwave wasnīt Open Source, has that changed recently?

And yes, the movie will be on English.

Last time I checked I had trouble finding anything "high profile" in LightWave.

Thanks, but just to be clear, Iīm not involved in that project. I just saw the new posted over there, and since they are quite a group of Blender users in CGTalk I decided to post it here as well.
