We are here. We are working with with the new SDK. Trying to get our heads around it with has been very difficult and slowed any development process to a crawl. There were undocumented incompatibilites with certain v7 SDK functions ( on which JENNA is very dependent, as well as instance objects that do not seem to convert to v8 very well, or at all ). We will be releasing a new v1.06 that will be the old JENNA with the fixes to make it work minus the instance functionality. I have been working on several new things for some time. Unfortunately the SDK has changed enough that porting to v8 requires significant work so I will be starting those from the ground up ( including JENNA ).

I would also like to address the issue of SLA not being correctly ported to v8. This was nothing bhodiNUT was involved in. We are not sure why MAXON did not do this except for the possibility they just ran out of time. We hope to see that issue resolved.

Hey ,

great to hear from you!
i am looking forward for jenna 1.06, that will be the point when i will change to v8. right now i am only testing the new version.

i havn t had problems with sla until now in v8...?

hope there is a solution to the sdk problem. let me say that i am also willing to pay a certain upgrade price for jenna, if it was very much work to fix all issues. ...think that would be ok.

jenna is one of the greatest plugs i ve ever used, so i think the most important thing would be to continue jenna for future cinema versions (and maybe some new features in future).

if maxon gets money for updates i think, serious third party developers could also charge a fair price for their updates.

for a second thing, i heard about the wireframe shader you developed, at least in rumours. i am very interested in something like that. thats a thing really missing in cinema:
-hope this plug will evr see the light of day some time!?

sorry for maybe wrong english...?

thx

:wip: here here !

bhodiNUT = high quality and style (not to mention killer useability)

just imagine where SLA would be if the Nuts had continued developing...
