Hi All,

I am very new to max...i am doing a tutorial...and im having a problem with rotating in view ports....

How do i change the position where the poles of rotation are???

eg: i have big scene with a building and a plane in the sky....i just wanna work with the plane for a moment...so i zoom in etc....now, whenever i try and rotate...it is trying to rotate from the centre of the grid 0,0,0!!! its its very annoying :(....how to i get max to rotate around, say, the center of an object OR a group etc??....how do i localise rotation around specific objects?

In the bottom right corner of Max, choose Arc Rotate SubObject. Then Max will use the currently selected object/subobject as the centre of rotation.
