Have I mentioned yet how much I love this renderer? It seems to just take anything you throw at it once you get your head around a few things. These render times are way faster than any other renderer I have used and now that it works perfectly on my renderfarm. . . I don't load up Layout any more. . . thank you pmG.

Nice!
Put a rim light in there to get the fill from the surface. Then: even better!

Like that David?

It has full two bounce GI so. . . there is plenty of light bouncing up from the ground. Its just a matte black finish so its not as easily apparent I guess.

Nice! If its very matte, you can squish the effect - but even very matte objects catch some light if the surface they're on is that white.
At any rate - looking good!
