Title: Sunny Afternoon
Name: Rong Wang
Country: Canada
Software: 3ds max
Hi: everyone
This is a sunny afternoon in my house backyard. I created this because I was inspired by the sun light in the time about 2hour before sunset.
hope you like it. any C&C are most welcome.

Hey, I like the smoke from the barbeque, almost didn't see it at first!
It looks too clean though, as in too regular textures, no (apparent) bumpmaps, too straight edges. Also, I think this scene could benefit from a higher field of view (almost looks like it's shot through a telephoto lens now), and add some photo grain in Photoshop to add realism.
Remember to give life to all those flat, regular surfaces - you can add some variation with faint, soft spotlights in places, too, like on the grass.
