I put the aristocrate-captain dude aside for now. Here is a new model. I plan to make only the head and as detailed as possible, to then texture and possibly animate it when I get the know-how. Check for more updates as it progresses, and don't be afraid to comment! Thanks:)

*** FOR UPDATES CHECK LAST PAGES, Thank you

Here is a picture showing the progress :

Oh and I'm looking for a nose tutorial. I remember seeing a tutorial recently where each parts of the head were made separatly. The nose looked good on it, so it coudl help me.

Anyway please(!) comment if you can:)

It looks very good. For some reason though I like the first version than the newest one. I think it's because his mouth is pretty 'friendly' looking. The first before you put the mouth in looks scarier I think.

I had given up on 3D for a while, I just started again Sunday, so I won't have the time to enter the contest. I have to hit the texturing books soon, or else all I'll evere do is model:p But maybe soon I'll enter contests:D

Oh and thanks for reminding me about the nose, I was forgeting:)

Here is the latest picture. I modified it a lot. Btw I always forget to mention it is based on a concept art from Legacy of Kain (a videogame) of a character called Morlock. I don't know who he is but he looks cool:) If you want to see the concept art I'll post it.
And I removed the other images as they became unecessary.

And sadly Proton, I had hardly any time to continue with this model, so I really can't enter the contest this time:/ Next time!:scream:

Well my previous post seems to have dissapeared. Here is an update on the arms. Man I am getting tired of not progressing with this. I just can't bring myself to proceed to the next stage if I am not happy with it.

C&C are welcomed of course.

He now has boobs. His forearms suck IMO. Any tips? Please? Pretty please with candy apples on top? Thanks!:bounce:

I think the only thing affecting your form is that you don't have muscles in the right places,
you should look for some anatomy pictures, and use them as reference. even if the character is going to be exaggerated you need to have practical muscle shapes.
keep us posted.

Are you sure of that? I looked at a lot of reference material, and a figurine I have and it seems quite close. Still needs some work tho. What part isn't right?

well when i look at the mejor forms like the biceps and the pecs, as well as the mucsles in the shoulders they don't realy seem to conect to any thing. thay don't realy overlap either so they.
alos your shapes on the muscles on the arms don't have enough volume, they are still very cylindrical.
sorry if my guides are kind of sloppy i'm kind of bussy at the moment.

Los.
