Just for the record before it gets confusing:
a) Are you betatester and using a beta version?
b) Are you using the demo version of hair together with the latest release (9.5.2)

What version exactly? It should be listed as 1.xx.xxx.

Don't worry, its nothing to do with the release hair system. Roadrunner4D had access to an old beta version of hair (all legit, I just didn't know about it), this just caused some confusion.
