the fur looks great, so does the right eye, that left one though, it doesn't really work as well, is that supposed to be the Don King side?
his thighs seem really buldgy as well.

Hey, thanks for the responses.

Yeah, the eye was a semi tribute to the PJ's Kong, but it's changes since if you look at the grey renders. The thighs are a bit thick in neutral pose, yes I agree with that. Not so apparent in a real gorilla stance (no image yet). I'm debating a muscle sim or blendshape for the thighs muscles, so it will surely change in movement.

Here's an earlier trial with more fur, for the fur fans. Had some trouble in the shoulders, but it's shaping up.

Wow, thats really nice! The fur looks so soft, like you could almost touch it. The legs look a little funny to me, but I'm not familiar with ape anatomy so that's probably it.
Just one thing, pleeeease dont call it 'Dong King' it sounds like a porn movie spin off :hmm:

Nice model and fur, but he looks a bit like a couch potato thou.. A lot more muscle and broader shoulders, body should be much bigger. I fiddled around with it abit.. red line is your approx. outline. Remember they've got muscles like a world class bodybuilder, so you can exxagerate a lot ..

yes, admittable the legs are boffed right now. they were later in the fix, but I'll push it sooner since it draws the most comments.

InKraBid: True, some gorillas are huge. But then some are really quite small in appearance(image 1), then some are still bulbous and potato-ish (image 2), and some disproportionate to their arms (image 3, BIG HEAD!); but then some are very Herculian
