View Full Version : Painting directly onto the mesh in 3DS
Hansanter 12-08-2005, 05:45 PM Hi,
Can anybody tell me what tools are available to paint directly onto the mesh within 3DS (I have V7).
Also, I watched a 'how to' video recently where the creator constantly worked between Photoshop and 3DS, everytime he adjusted the image in Photoshop it appeared updated when he hopped back to 3DS, is there addon software for doing this.
I'm just trying to make things a bit easier when creating characters and their textures etc.
Thanks.

Many thanks indeed for all your help. The Cebas product looks very interesting. I may try out some of those scripts first.
Thanks again.

If you have combustion you can also link a combustion material from max and paint directly onto the mesh (as it draws the map in combustion on your second monitor!)
