View Full Version : Comping Isuue
Favian001 12-08-2005, 05:23 PM Need a little bit of info and hope someone might have an answer. I have an animation that needs to be composited in AE in front of a .tiff still. When I do so I get this black outline around the character when I output to a DVD. I know this seems pretty "newbie-ish", but I just cant remember what it was to get rid of that outline. Unmatted when the .tiff sequence is brought in?

actually, the previous poster is a bit misleading. you're getting bitten by premultiplication. what you need to do is change how AE is interpreting the footage. set it to "premultiplied - matted with color" with black, and you should be good to go. happy comping!

Issue solved! Thanks Phred42 that fixed the issue. I remembered it had to do with an import setting or something.
