View Full Version : CPT Falloff effecting formula deformer?
JoelOtron 12-08-2005, 02:38 PM Any tips on controlling the falloff effect of the c4d formula deformer?
I am attempting to use cpt and its falloff function, but so far no luck.
Thanks

I got the effect I neede using Nickl set to radial with a wide wide x component scale. (I needed a simple linear waveform with falloff).
But I'd still like to hear anyons ideas on how to get falloff to work with soemthing like the inbuilt formula deformer if possible.

Just use the CPT example that shows how to use the Falloff Object to alter the vertex map in realtime.
If you don't have it drop me a line.
JoelD bribed me with cool stuff. He does get special treatment. :argh:

I will give it a shot with your suggestions--hadnt considered a vertex map
but got things working for now...
And it was your birthday, or arbor day or something---right?
I thought it was just a sign of respect. :D
