Me and my friend decided to make a game, im the graphic designer. I have some experience with 3d max. I was wondering. What type of geometry should i use Poly, mesh or patch?

What exactly are you trying to do here, build your own engine? Mod another engine? Be a little bit more specific. But to answer your question, I believe all game engines work in ploygons, solids and spline patches aren't used as far as I know.

Yea, we are trying to build our own engine. When you said that games use polys. Lol, that answeared my question. I heard of that beffore. But i was not sure. Thx dude.
