View Full Version : Discovery of the maya render:)=question
kpalazov 11-23-2002, 08:09 AM Well I have read many upon many bad reviews of this renderer. And iterms of speed and some quailty issues, these reviews may be valid, but the method and freedom of desgning of shaders is unparaleled in any other app I have tried -maya and max:)lol- absolutle artistic freedom.
I wanted to ask a question though , I am just testing all the utilities- what is sampling?
thank you fro any replies.
take care

Yup. Maya renderer is good. I've seen some awesome stuff made with it. As someone said to me once "The only people who badmouth the maya renderer are those who don't know how to use it"
