hi guys, how do i set the vray material transparensy without causing the object under it distorted/refract too much? or without causing the reflection distorted? just wanna achieve how a transparent table glass behaves? thanks!

The distortion comes from your IOR value. IOR = Index of Refraction.
The correct value for glass is an IOR value of 1.51

For aditional IOR values check out the chart on
vray.info (http://www.vray.info/topics/t0077.asp)

All glass has some sort of refraction. If you turn this off it will be physically incorrect.
however, if you want the light to have no refraction at all set the IOR value to 1.

Creating glass in VRay is to set your Refraction and Reflection levels to 100% and tick the Fresnell box. Play with Fog color and Exit color values for aditionall effects.

You could also download EGZ materials from vray.info (http://www.vray.info)
which contains a class material or you could have a look at the Simian Arcitectural Materials (http://vrayinfo.vismasters.com/catalog/viewproduct.aspx?product=3675) which seems to have some really good materials for architectural visualization with an easy intuitive interface.

Cheers
