Hi all.

I decided to redesign by robot as i wasn,t happy with it.
Here is the concept for the new design.
I have started a new thread because the design is so different.
any comment would be great. :surprised

Im trying to make something capable of dynamic actions.

nice model, are you going to do any expressions with the mouth at all? or is it just going to open and close?

In my opinion the eyes and eyelids in the original sketch are more simple and more expressive. Other than that it's great.

dvornic: I agree I am planning to do a bit more work on the eye area.:)
suffix: How about a bit of twist? :thumbsdow

AH the twist works well!!! bursting with expression flavor!!! it's come a long way! your progress has been looking good!

Awesome robot. It is quite exspresive. Only crit is, how would it work? I don't see any way the joints could move an such. Maybe some pistons would help?

try to make the head less human, by, for example, dividing it into sevral plates. like you did with the foots. this could be aplied to many things on the objekt.

Really like a lot the model, the only thing is that with the first head it looked kinda cute, and now its more agressive....

Any updates ???

Great model!!

I'm not keen on the grey material though. Or is that temporary?

gr8 progress from the 2d design to the 3d model..only one critic....everything turned out a good 3d re-creation except the head...

his head looks too organic compared to his body...also the proportions are different compared to the 2d design...

overall a good progress!...
