Well heres my little blog thread, Im gonna be posting my final animation (30secs) here in hopefully 4 weeks. Its my 2nd year project ive decided to get off my ass basically  .

But for now ill be working my way through each stage showing it here and hopefully adjusting :buttrock: .

ok 1st things 1st the brief:

Make a 30 second animation (not including intro/credits) involving an animal/animals (no 3d cg allowed) showable on a widescreen format.

ok I admit we got this brief a fair few weeks ago and the deadline is january so :banghead: but at the minute im doing a joint with graphic design/animation/illustration so  .

heres the 1st post, the plan :)

A simple story of a snake out chasing its meal, to only be tricked by pesky ninja mice (and mocked to boot!) but it all goes horribly wrong (ass ends up  ).

Animatic
(made from my scanned storyboard  )

well it seems i cant upload my .gif >< and my webspace is only accessible from home so can any animator take pity on a poor student? :banghead:

Well my animatic is just about right timing wise nothing i cant sort in flash etc :)
(of which I have still to learn :argh: )

Now onto character design, I think im quite happy with my snake but my mouse, bla any tips anyone? soon as monday arrives im gonna go steal "the animators survival kit"

Currently thinking of paying around £40 for a domain and host from 1and1.co.uk just to have somewere other than my unreliable settopbox domain (through my familys t.v. >< ) worth it or not?
