hi everyone,
im ken, and im new using corel painter IX.
i need some consultation here, hope can find out the answer here.

1st of all im using acrylics as my media to draw

1. how many pixels / resolution i need to hav, in order to print it out after finish painting.
( 3508 x 4961 is it enough? )

2. how to adjust the wetness of the brushes (acrylics)

I usually just paint at 300 DPI of whatever size I intend to print it at (which is usually 8.5 x 11 inches--big enough for a magazine cover).

For wetness, use the Bleed adjustment slider. You can also play with other settings like Resaturation, Opacity, and also the method to control the expression in the brush controls. For example, a high bleed brush set to expression of none, with a low resaturation with expression set to pressure, and a high opacity with expression set to none, will probably give you a very wet brush.
