Hy there! :wavey:

I have a liitle problem: i did a hand with polygons and enveloped it to bones, i fine tuned the envelope, and then i found that the fingers aren't rotate correctly.

The question is: how to fix this in XSI?

I had the same problem in maya and i fixed this by setting up the local rotation axis for each bone.

Help me please cause i dont want to loose my envelope.

Thanks!

mute envelope
if move defomers around
select deformers and deform>Envelope>set reference poses
if move envelope around
select envelope and deform>Envelope>set reference poses
unmute envelope

yes i know that! thanks!

but in maya i don't need to rotate the bones around again, the bones stay in place i just rotate their local rotate axis.
is there something like that in XSI?
