CGTalk - Newbie Tutorials?

Hi there everybody,

I just uhm..got 3d Studio Max 3.1 if i'm right.
But i don't know any thing of it!...i know how to play a bit around with the camera....how to add some objects like that ball etc...
But that is where it totally stops for me :shrug:
I would really like it if you people would give me some links to great tutorials for a n00b like me in 3D Studio Max.

I hope you will give me some, that would be really great!
Because if i see al those great things you people make...damn...i'm so jealous :drool:

First I'd suggest going through the tutorials in the help section for max. It will really give you a good foundation on the basics. Then I'd suggest going to 3dbuzz.com and registering yourself and then go to the download section on the left side and get the video tutorials on Max. Very good for beginners.
