Title: Turtle
Name: Juliano Teixeira De Castro
Country: Brazil
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

well, this is a cartoon character i designed for an animation project at work. The textures are hand painted, and the light was very simple, just omins and a direct light, no GI. the Photoshop was udes for color correction and DOF effect.

Wow, That's Cute!!! I like it
His feet are bit flat? Maybe its a particular style.
But I just can't stop loving cute stuff.

Hey Juliano!

Great work on modeling, texturing, rendering and composition.

I have just one critique. I don´t know if it´s me, but in a first view it seems that the turtle is flying, not swimming( I suppose that is a sea turtle, isn´t?)

Anyway, that is a great and fun piece!

best,
gus

Really cute!

Nice image and modeling, he looks a bit flat, maybe a displacement map would fix that but if it's for animation, it's ok, and soo cute!!

Great work
