xLonewolfx 12-02-2005, 05:32 PM can anyone tell me or know any good tuts for rendering water drops?
i did the model (1/2 a sphere :P with MS)
now i dont know how to set the material/shader for rendering
im a max noob so please let me know where the bottons i need to click are

hi, u can use raytrace in refraction and falloff map in reflection, try to low the opacity to 25% or like that. I think u will get a good water drop mat. change the color of water drop in raytrace settings. hope this helps

I saw good drops in final render.But I think that its possible to make in max:make bump for blend material in slot of mask for your drops,and then use either glass of water shaders and adjust refraction.Its quite the way it was created in final render,and realistic.
