This is the start of a concept bike which I've been modelling for about 3 days now. I'm designing it for a personal animation project that I'm working on atm.

Thanks for looking :)

Looking pretty cool. I do think that it is a little too tron ' ish. I think if you add a lot of details like air intake etc it will move away from that, and become very unique. Are you going to tighten up the panels or leave gaps?

I assume that the red sides of the wheels are immobile because they are symmetric in their orientation between the front and back, and because they have those large lights attached to them in such a way that they could not spin. However, it looks as though these red disks are also attached to the rubber of the wheel. In short, it does not look like it is possible for the wheels to turn.

IZZE & xtrm3D,

Thanks, I'm planning on adding alot of detail to the interior and exterior of the bike. It's just kind of a rough shape atm. I don't want it to look like the tron bike in the end. The plates will retract into the body work when not in use. I'm going to tighten up the gaps as I go. I'll replace the 'lights' with jets next. In my script, the bike leaps over large objects and stays airbourne for short periods of time.

Andrea Biffi,

Thanks, I'm going for the Japanese 'mech' look.

stuh505,

It's a science fiction project so I'm going to be making up alot of technologies. I should have mentioned that in my first post. The plates on the wheels are immobile and their supposed to protect the tyres from damage from enemy fire and the bike jets. Their attached to the bike's main body and the wheels are supposed to be spinning in between them. I see what you mean about the plates cutting into the tyres, I'll bring those out a bit to make it more convincing.

I've added a jet engine at the rear,

A side vent near the rear.
