Nice work

If you have not moved on from the getting an older look yet MV its in the skin,it has too much vibrancy and a young look to it,texture for weathering will give him age.Try a bump map of leather at a low setting and see how it looks :) ...cross hatched as someone mentioned is also a good idea, but I think leather might be more like what you are wanting.A little more in the ways of crows feet would also make him look older.

Apart from that great.

I've finished the weathering of the face now. Here is a little facial expression test I did with XL8's Posemixer tool. Posemixer is really nice. :)

what can i say very very impressive....

i don't like the really large ridge/dent on his forehead though, and on the upper part of the cheek where the first fold of skin meets the eye part the dent is to pronounced so the skin slips over funny.....but then what the hell do i know and these are trivial to what you manage to get him looking like....i like the specularity you got on his chin, nose etc makes it look greasy like in real life....nice touch...thanks for posting your results

Woah!!! :applause:

This is VERY good! I'm surprised I haven't seen more of your stuff! I'll definitely keep an eye out for you in the future.

I'm particularly suprised by your texturing talent! I know you're probably hesitant... but could you post your texture map? I'm anxious to see how you did it!

See you around!

Hi MV

Really great character - very impressive :)

The only thing I find a little wrong are the eyes - the look a bit lifeless.
I think it needs a stronger and sharper highlight/reflection and perhaps e bit more variation in the whites of the eyes (a little yellow, more blood viens etc.)

Thanks. I don't have time to post the maps now. Maybe later. There are three maps, for color, bump, and specularity. I can tell you that Bodypaint is a great tool for doing this kind of work.
