Could you provide a larger picture?

Might I suggest that you'd never have the character in that position? (unless you were breaking his spine?)
As to the popping, it seems like the joint is reaching an extreme. How did you link it?

Hey. sorry about that. I didn't catch that problem before. I just fixed it, though. I can't access my 3dluvr ftp right now for some reason but here's a link on another server.
LowMax_Max6v1_01.rar (http://www.squishyandsqueezy.com/3d/LowMax_Max6v1_01.rar)
good luck. :)

I think that i've founded an other problem, when i do my animtion(a walkcycel) then the other arm/shoulder does'nt want to fallow. They are'nt at the same height level as they are supoced to be( referd to real life). On my animation i moved the upperbody down just a little (over the knees tot he head; with the arms/hands) and the shoulders did'nt match height :( .
Here is a screenshot when i moved the upperbody uppwards(overdid it to show you the problem :bounce: ).

Though there is a related problem to it(the arms/shoulders) is that when you schale that uppearm then one of the arms does'nt scale itself :( .

uh, on the left shoulder object, I forgot to Lock X and Y under Move (Hierarchy/Link Info) But regardless of that, you shouldn't move the character by selecting all the upper body objects. Just use Root_Cntrl if you need to move the upper body down. And to reposition the whole character use LowMax_1_01 character node object.

Hey. I noticed that problem too. I should have posted it here. I fixed the neck problem too so re-download the max 6 version.
