View Full Version : Old head wip
All the new heads in here lately inspired me to dig up one I started some time ago and sidelined along the way.I fixed the majority of screwups I made previously :D ,it still needs tweaks though, couldnt resist throwing some textures at it as well for a bit of a test :)

nice touch bud....
how bought a wireframe look...also like the last one.
Thanks
My new old wip stills need quite a bit of tweaking :)
Ah texture 3,that was a fusion of 2d noise with mid green and lightish green, then sema 2d noise for the forehead pattern, with sema for the bump as well.Sema had different greens again to differentiate between the 2d noise and its self for some contrast. It also another 2d noise a separate mix with others bump of something veroni {sorry cant remember off hand} set at a low setting, and voila you have a mixture of greens and bumps.Oh ya also has dirty nuts and a high specular.
Its still in a sym object at the moment as well.
flingster I will do some more tweaking then post a wire for ya :)

That's really good Kiwi!
The bone structure around the eyes shouldn't be so wrinkley and it should be depressed a bit more in some areas.. otherwise it's really good! Keep it up!
Thanks
Flingster sorry no ani or facial poses, the jump to 7 to 8 is too much for my old graphics card so I can only really half use 8 as everything has a large delay for moving objects, selections etc...drives me frigging nuts,so I re installed 7 until I can get a new puter in 2 - 3 months.
Adrian thanks I will look at those points :)

Good work so far but keep attention to proportions... The distance between the eyes should be equal to a third eye for example... http://underdog.dreamcomics.com/english/head.htm
Ah ok thanks, so you think I should move them in further yet? :)
Hard to believe I used to sketch portraits for people isnt it :D
Stu.
Doh!!!!! :hmm: ..it became glaringly obvious what you meant when I took another look at the mesh.....thanks
