View Full Version : Leaf Fairy
RadiantWings 11-22-2002, 02:16 AM Here is a still from an animation I just finished. This is the back view of a fairy constructed entirely of leaves. She is teasing the dragon in the background with the stick, and is about to throw it to him. comments and suggestions are appreciated, but for now this is finished. I am planning to re render next quarter however.

Hmm, great concept, but kind of hard to understand from stills. Reminds me of that movie when the stainglass windows came to life, had to do with magic and i think it had the kid from homealone in them. It would probably make alot more sense while in motion just because our eyes would see the shapes better. The skeleton thing is nice though.

:bounce: This is a great idea! I like what you've done with the fairy (actually, it reminds me a bit of Ubi Soft's Rayman character). I agree with LordShaitan about it being hard to understand what's happening by just looking at stills. These poses aren't strong enough to be easily recognized.
If you're going to re-render, are you planning to add an environment? It'd be great to see where they are. The white room thing is kinda bland... :D
Oh yeah--could you post the animation somewhere? I'd like to see this in motion!

I am editing the animation today, and I will post it when I finish that. I'll also do some up close renders of the dragon, and I will do some greyscale renders of the fairy without the transparency
