View Full Version : Is this configuration OK?

Hi! :D
Ok, this is my little HW question: is this configuration OK to make 3D (not games!) with 3ds MAX 4.2?
I have to upgrade my sistem, and I think with this:

AMD Athlon XP 1800
ASUS A7V266-E VIA KT266A
512Mb DDR RAM
HD IBM U-ATA 100 60Gb 7200rpm
ABIT Siluro Titanium200 GEFORCE3 64M DDR

Is it ok? Do you think a P4 could be better? why?
The video card... is the Ti200 good or not? I don't make games!

Please give me some advices! :)

GF 3 ti200 should be fine, you just dont get the certified drivers, but nvidia's openGL drivers are good anyway.

the athlon XP is fine as well. don't worry, this system should last you a little while! :)
