Hello there,
Just a quick question.
Is there any way to project the UVs from Nurbs surfaces onto the polygon object in Maya?
I mean..let's say for example I have a polygon cylinder with no UVs on it..or with UVs which as chaotic - completely messed up. What I would want is to have UVs on that poly cylinder to be the same or similar to UVs found on NURBS cylinder. That is why I would create the NURBS cylinder which I would "surround" around the polygon one. The next step I would want to do is to "project" NURBS cyliner UVs onto polygon one.
As a result of such operation I would have POLYGON cylinder which acquired the UVs from surrounding NURBS cylinder.
Thanks for any help!
