the black areas are what hasnt been addressed yet, and the dress thing still needs detailing

i love it:thumbsup:
i wonder how sturdy that shoulder pad is though, it seems a little thin to hold up to any kind of impact, it's a very cool design though,
i might suggest getting rid of the inner layer of the dress, and adding something similar to the ring things, or something, but that's just me
what software are you using for this version?

im gonna do some loose cloth as the inner layer and something connecting each piece of the outer layers. Maybe leather lacing.. who knows.. thanks for the comments.. im using maya 6.5 by the way

hey kmanning!
lookin good. nice details and great characteristics.
just got a few crits. think the arms are just a wee-bit to big (-or musculare), as they are now, compared to the rest of the body. the scull at the end of his staff, should also be "locked" somehow. just thinkin', when he's fighting or whatever he's doing with the staff, woulden't fall off, as it is right now..? might just be me.
really lookin' forward for your next step.

Thanks guys.
abyss103 < Good point about the skull. I will tie it to the staff a little better. I havnt really done any work to the arms yet, but I will tone down the muscle scale as well. Hopefully I can get to it after work today.
the lone deranger < Me too, its been a long time since I have texture anything
Neeno < Thank you very much
Jjack < Thanks man, I plan to push this guy as far as I can.

jesus, this is real good man.. poly pushing crazy..
I have 2 crits:
1) the cloth design is kinda strange... can u post some reference?
2) there is a clipping near the written part of the cloth (by the neck).. that 'ball' inside
the hole in the armour is odd.. not pratical if its supposed to hold something..
;)

DieByTheSword - thanks for the comments man. 1.) Im not using any spacific ref or concepts for the character, can ya be a little more spacific on what you think looks strange? 2.) The ball thing is odd, I was intending it on being a broch of some sort that would pin the cloth to the undershirt. yet im sure I can come up with something better.
Thanks again for the crits.
