I have it and it's awesome to learn how to productively set up your shots.

I've always wanted to buy them. What volumes do you have? which one is the best and worst of the bunch?

They're extremely well done. Well worth the money if you're serious about filmmaking. Check out highend3d.com for a discounted offer.

Interesting in that now the item Hollywood Camera Work at highend3d.com has been removed. I wonder why?

Perhaps the special was for a limited time?

Just interesting that on the 1st it was there and now on the third it's been removed completely. Hhmmm......
I could see plopping down $279, but $479 (at least for me) is a tad steep. Oh well.... :(
It was only a holiday sale. If youy call directly and speak to Per Holmes maybe you can talk him into another sale. He mentioned that the guys at Pixar bought the full set. BTW the full set is excellent. You can never get this knowledge out of a book.

Oh Man! Two days to late - $200 more. I think I'll wait a while.
I thought it was only available as a complete set? Can you buy individual DVD's?

Well... after checking it out and viewing a couple of the samples... I bought it! There was the Merry Christmas discount which brought the price down 33% from $479 to $335. I figured that it wasn't too bad a price and it really looked VERY well produced. I'm betting the rest of the collection is just as good.
Thanks DMack for pointing it out here! :)

PS. I just checked the site and that discount is still up - if anyone is still interested at that price.

Go here for the Christmas discount price of $335:

...and follow the instructions. Sounds pretty suspicious though, like entering cheat codes for a game. ;)

Whoohoo! Mine just arrived today (not bad from US to UK!). I popped the first one in, just to check it ran smoothly and was sucked in......They are brilliantly done and I can tell already they are going to cover a LOT of ground in a VERY clear way.
Funny, they say that the DVD's are a course about 9 hours long if I remember....yeah right!, only because the narrator talks so quickly! There's about 18 hours worth, done in about 9 hours!!
Can't wait to get really stuck in, rather than my "1 minute" check I did this morning!
Looks like a fantastic buy!

Though keep sharing your personal opions! if by some miracle i get an raise, or win a small lottery price... me knows on what to spend it!
