kassun 11-29-2005, 03:27 AM I am working on texturing a gun. I have my color map completed and bump, but i am having a hard time making it look like the attached photo.

sorri :)... I have a base grey on a blin with a granite for the bump. I can't get the right look. I was hoping somone could show me how to construct the shader so it would be a close or perfect match.

I think for the base material you could probably get away with mapping a "rock" material to the specular color of your shader. Change the rock colors to a dark grey and white and play with the specular roll off. Just an idea. It doesn't appear to be a bump as much as a specular effect. Hope that helps in some way.
