Title: Little Lucie (blue Fairy)
Name: Maxime Desmettre
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop

Here is my fist post on CGTalk.

I started this image with the intention to build a serie of several on the same topic : different fairies with their own personality (based on a color). So that's the first one.

I usually works on environements, but i'd like to progress on character 'painting', so please, don't hesitate to express yourself on the pic, and thanks for your coming advises !

what an interesting little character.
I just think she would deserve a bit more detailing. I would really really love to see a bit more work on this because it's so totally promising :D

Very cool image, and a neat idea to create fairies based upon colour. I think the concept is well-done, and the overall anatomy and lighting works together well. It does have a semi-unfinished quality to it, but that may be intentional. It'd be cool to see with some improved contrast. The wings in particlar could have so much more depth and crispness. Great work!

Gotta say the feminine touch is getting to me! :D However different styled, the results are most often a bit more towards a good finnish. Great and very cute.
