View Full Version : 2d - The Guys
mstram 11-28-2005, 07:22 PM I'm just starting in on 2d animation and drawing for that matter, which is obvious in this clip, but it gave me a chuckle when I drew it. I know it has a long way to go for my eventual goal of a smooth 2d animation, but it's a start :)

hey, it's refreshing to see some Classical animation on here once in awhile. Are you teaching yourself or taking classes on 2d? They are pretty funny actually.
But obviously they are missing lots of inbetweens, but that'll come when your keys are what u want them to be....which is what yer missing, Fred seems to hop around for some reason, and his arm should convey a smooth whipping motion. Check out Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams for all the ins/outs on 2D fundamentals.

Thx for your comments. I'm teaching myself, and spent literally only a few minutes on each (and it shows :) ).
I do have R. Williams's book too
